PhD Study at the IOCT
The IOCT welcomes enquiries from potential PhD students. Please use the 'Make an Enquiry' link on this page.
Studentships do sometimes become available to undertake specific projects in the IOCT. When they do, details are routinely advertised through www.jobs.ac.uk and a notice will be posted here. Otherwise, there are no studentships or other funding support available.
Given the transdisciplinary nature of IOCT research, the range of potential areas for PhD study is large. To get an idea of possible specific areas of focus, view the Project links on the research page and the list of topics below. All IOCT PhD supervisions involve academic staff from more than one discipline, and it is expected that any proposed PhD would similarly reflect a cross-disciplinary perspective.
